This class was great. I never knew what I didn't know. I definitely learned a lot of things that helped my confidence and capabilities. I feel much safer after taking this class. Our instructor was great. Trish was very patient, thorough, and had lots of knowledge related to free diving. It was so much fun, I would highly recommend this class.

# 0 Level 1 Freediver

Instructor: Daniel Koval

Daniel Koval, clearly, is an exceptionally talented freediver, communicator, and instructor. He’s also a very nice person, which makes everyone feel completely at ease. Daniel shares as much experience as he can with you, which to me is just as valuable if not more so than any necessary curriculum. Daniel’s professional manner and cheerful demeanour also make seemingly insurmountable fears, solvable; no big deal basically! I’ve certainly learnt that freediving is significantly more than diving ‘deep’. Here you have to exercise the paradox of progress through letting go and relaxing completely. Anyhow, learn to freedive with Daniel, he’s absolutely excellent :)

A+ freediving program with an A+ instructor (Daniel Koval). I've been swimming since I was in elementary school, surfing since college, and skin diving shortly after so I thought I was pretty confident in the water. My FII course just took that into a completely new level with the theoretical information and water sessions. My comfort depth was about 20ft before the L1 course and 40-60+ after. Highly recommended!

# 0 Level 1 Freediver

Instructor: Ryan Keene

The course conducted was very easy to understand and very good teaching skills. I could easily break my record depth to 60 feet. I am glad to have his instruction and gave a lot of confidence to go diving.

# 0 Level 2 Freediver

Instructor: Joe D'Agostino

I am disappointed in my level II instructor, Mr. D'agostino. I took his level I class and passed it. He rushed us through the classroom work and the pool work. His attitude was here it is, if you don't get it the first time, that's too bad. Same thing in our open water dives the next day. Seems he was more concerned about selling a four wheeler. I passed, but felt that his professionalism as an instructor was lacking. The whole time he was teaching he acted like he wanted to be somewhere else. Then, a year later, I signed up for his level II class. We can all have an off weekend, so I decided on giving him a second chance. Unfortunately during the level II class I saw no improvement in his attitude towards some of his students. He definitely showed favoritism. Again, it was, "here it is: if you get it good, if not, hard luck." Due to a sinus condition and unfavorable open water conditions I was not able to make my deep dive. He has been recalcitrant in accommodating me in arranging a make-up dive. His standard answer on why he doesn't make a better effort is "I have kids to feed." He doesn't always answer emails or texts.
