I started to learn about freediving like many others: via the internet. Excited to take the Level 1 course for professional instruction, Daniel made me grateful that I had enrolled: there is a lot to learn that youtube doesn't teach - safety being key. Our group consisted of a variety of skilled divers. Daniel's structure addressed each individual's needs without making the others feel left out or waiting. He had a laid back approach which made everyone comfortable, he instilled confidence to help us define our own limits, and a sense of humor to keep us smiling. I'll be looking for him when the time comes for Level II. Mahalo DK!

I've been freediving and spearfishing for a while now, done quite a bit of reading online and in a few books but still learned some new and useful things. As an instructor Matt was awesome. He took the time to thoroughly explain everything and really critique form and technique on the practical portion. Looking forward to diving with FL freedivers again!
